450 ad onward to dom. Sorry to hold up the proceedings but my hotel in the Rockies barely had electricity and certainly no internet connections. Very 20th century.

The peaceful, but not particularly happy, Chinese democracy would like to buy lux at 10 gpt if there are any willing providers.

I hope I'm not the one holding up the other game??

Yes, WW definitely happens, but apparently increases at a slower rate than in SP. Religious civs have no right to complain though!

Although I'm still in (as some kind of jungle partisan fighter I believe), the game is effectively over for me. Congratulations to a fierce defender and a very successful counterattacker. Outstanding played!

I love being left in the dark. How the heck did DaveMcW conquer both enemy capitals?! Sigh.

Does this mean the game is more or less "over"?

I have not yet seen the save, but it appears it was a Cavalry/railroad blitz through Ottoman territory. My cities (including the capital) along the Ottoman border were undefended.

I will definitely play as long as people want to play.

Dave made a first class cavalry+railroad rush, broke my defense (which wasn't worth to be mentioned) and built railroads through my land with 50+ workers, conquering city by city (which were mostly undefended anyway). I have 3 coastal cities left, so yes, for me it's more or less game over. As far as I could see, he started the same thing with alex too, but then probably ran out of workers. You can play on, if you want, but it's basically against an opponent, who owns the biggest part of this continent.

A bunch of cities appeared this turn from under the cover of darkness. I assume these are the Ottoman cities conquered last turn by Egypt. Is it normal that I'm able too see them?
