Is there a mod that...
Is there a mod that gives vanilla civ a longer early game period? Im so tired of blowing through the first 150 turns only to get to a long middle late game. maybe a mod that changes the start date and stagnates technology growth...

Not sure it's quite what you're after, but have you tried Kull's Seeds of Greatness? IIRC, it starts in the bronze age and ends sometime around 250BC. It's a fun one.

just edit your rules.txt and change the tech paradigm (under @COSMIC) from 10 to a higher value; slows down the research rate but will penalise you heavily earlier on when you have few cities.
