Autopilot
A couple of times, I had a survey ship go through a wormhole to a sector that was out of range. I could not move the ship and a message came up telling me that I needed to set an autopilot course for my home system. I can't figure out how to do that. Can anyone tell me how to do it?

You should be able simply to left-click on the ship and right-click on a sector with one of your planets in it. Auto-pilot engages on its own at that point.

When you select your ship, you find certain sectors are highlighted on the galaxy map. This sectors are within range of your planets and starbases with the current range of your ship. Just move anywhere in those regions.
