Hands?

Jesus Horse, how long has it been for you? I realized you were old, but

It's not the hand muscles that get a workout.

I always wondered about Popeye.

Maybe he was waiting for Olive Oyl to hit puberty...

Online relationship advice from someone you don't know is one of the best ways to tank a relationship, I have no idea why people think so highly of themselves to start "advice" threads like this anyway.

And I really do have to question the sanity of the people who take serious advice from such threads.

I think you're getting a tad bit senile in your old age.

I've never asked for relationship advice. Ever.

No of course not - you just told us stuff like you can't even stand in a bus queue without having an anxiety attack.

And I got very useful medical information from it.

It's nothing like starting a thread like "Help me solve your relationship problems" by a poster who's been AWOL for months...

To be fair, that is probably a plus for anyone dishing out relationship advice. I don't think folks that are constantly on Poly are qualified to talk about social interaction...

I have relationships, just no romantic ones. That's not to say there's no sexual relationships though.

I just happen to be exceedingly picky when it comes to people I need to spend a lot of time around.

You can use the Al Capone approach: Make her an offer she can't refuse.

She's probably afraid you'll get her knocked up again again. So ease her mind and just tell her you want to make it up to her for being a saint and putting up with you.
So arrange to have all the kids babysat, and plan a nice outing she'll enjoy (that takes out sporting events and local pubs).

Let her know in advance since you'll probably encounter some resistance and if you set up a date, don't change it.
Work up the horsie charm (i suppose you have it since you managed to have all those children) and behave so she'll want to do it again.

Nothing. Ignorance is bliss (at least in your case).
Buy her flowers and thank her for keeping you that way.

Depends. Does the giftgiving part make you uncomfortable because she has more money than you or you is it because reciprocating takes too much time off your schedule?
Else, theres the type of person that thinks that she has to be flamboyantly generous to keep other peoples affection because they think they're not attractive enough by themselves.
You pick and choose which type you got.

I'd understand that she'd buy you things because she thinks they're cool and thinks you'd like them while shes looking at them and acts on the whim.

If you like the gifts, thank her.
If it makes you uncomfortable, tell her so and be clear on telling her why.
And if you're happy about it. Enjoy your gifts and reciprocate every so often.

Any girl should be able to tell you. Ask now.
There isn't better time than the present, if you act like you want to but don't (read wait), the girl will probably get the wrong signals or be confused.

The only way to know how religious someone might be is by getting to know them. If you don't like it, take off.
If you can live with it, set your limits and live by what you agreed with.

The girl is uncomfortable because you treated her like an object, and now she thinks you're just with her because you're obsessed about her breasts.
So even if you are, keep the comments to yourself and if you're into them act by doing.

ok, here's one for you.

say there are 3 different girls (all are of a different nationality, and speak a language that you "sort of" speak) and they each work at different bars (one of them actually owns her own bar.

and they all expect you to come to THEIR bar. one of them kind of likes you, one of them kind of likes someone else, and one of them is dating someone else, but they ALL flirt with you and ask you to come to their bar. also, the one that kind of likes you has a friend that kind of likes your friend, and THAT girl called him up last night and said "hey, let's all hang out and get drunk together" but she meant last night. and tonight when my friend and i went to that bar, the girl that kind of likes me already had plans (with other female friends) for tonight, but the other girl went to meet my friend.

uhh, sorry that's confusing.
