Now That's What I'm Talking About
Has anyone here tried MP with voice chat?

In the few games I've played, it seems that city and unit management suffers when trying to negotiate with another player through text. I can think of pros and cons with this, but am curious what others think of it. Is there a problem with lag on the net?

Also, any recommendations on hardware? Is any $15 headset/microphone as good as the next?

I did use voice chat but sofar to test it only. No full game played with it. I am using a 5$ headset and it seems to work fine.

How did you test it? Did you connect to someone else that had voice chat also?

Yes, that is what I did. Just today played for a longer time with one of the other one to one league members using MSN for voice. That worked fine also.
