You shouldn't call us old because we have a greater depth of gaming knowledge.

Sigh......the youth of today.

Well contary to popular opinion being 30+ is just as cool as being 13!(except i use naff outdated slang like 'cool' ).
And i'm lucky in that it's very hard to tell the drool from the porridge, so i can concentrate more on playing games
Where's Cap TVK? let the (young) games begin!

Alright alright! These things take time. How else do you expect me to let them rhyme.

This time an 8-bit classic, appeared on the Spectrum, C64, Amstrad and later 16 bit as well. Shouldn't be so hard

Once upon a time there was an evil emperor
Who was also a bit of conqueror...
His power was vast and as solid as granite
So to show of his stuff he created not one, but four times a planet...

On these he placed, to show of his power
Four grand crowns so all others would cower...
Because of this we received an important mission
But first we have to get out of this prison...

I do think RPM knows the answer, but he has to say it himself before we can proceed.

Crash 39: Head over Heels

Okay new one:

Old C64 - early '80s
1. Defeat the backwards wizard Rot Nam to win.
2. Use your magic red wop to do it.
3. Apparently you'll need to be a musician as well.

RPM is correct. It is indeed Head over Heels, one of the best isometric platform games ever created. There's also an excellent remake in the works at: http://retrospec.sgn.net/games/hoh/

Dr,

I did not see that in the rules anywhere. The secret is to make your clues non-googlfied.

Yeah it doesn't help those of us who are lazy and use googled reviews to form clues.

How about the game Solstice? I thought that was a very good isometric.

Of course you did say "one" of the best isometrics...

As if I do not. sorry, but I do not remember all of the games that I played, considering that I've played probably close to 1000 different ones. Hell, I can't even remember what I did yesterday.

1. Defeat the backwards wizard Rot Nam to win.
2. Use your magic red wop to do it.
3. Apparently you'll need to be a musician as well.
