I would like to apologize for that outburst back there. It is unlike me to be drawn into other poster's negativity. It just utterly infuriated me that some people seem to have absolutely zero respect for anybody or anything. It usually takes quite a bit to get me angry on this message board, as long-time vets can probably attest.

I still have a long way to go, even though I sometimes like to think I have conquered petty things such as anger, events such as this show me that I still have work to do. May Day (next only to Christmas) should be a day to remind all of us that learning to "turn the other cheek" and to "return evil with good" is the only way to humanity to advance. I am reminded of a poem by Mother Thersa that is perfect for today.

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered;
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;

Happy May Day everyone!

Let's celebrate this day in the proper fashion by kicking back and celebrating the complete and utter failure of communism in the 20th century. We should all be thankful that this flawed ideology has been completely discredited and future generations will be free from authoritarianism garbed in the guise of "equality". Communism may have been the cause of untold horrors in the last century, but it is dead now. While we should always remember the victims of this evil idea, we should also celebrate the victory of freedom.

Well Drake, we must naturally ask what is communism? Marx may tell you differently, but all communism really is a desire to live for the betterment of humanity. That is something that will never die, and can never die. In fact, it is ingrained in all of us, soon humanity will begin to wake up to the divine side of it's nature and this dormant concept of "communism" will awaken. But hey, don't take my word for it, just wait and see.

Of course there will always be the dumb-@$$es who have been out of work for a year, are about to have their houses foreclosed on, and see no jobs in the future (except at Mickey-D's Steakhouse) who still love King George W. And will probably vote for him again either because (a) "he's a good guy" or (b) "he's born again".

Fez- :shrug: You do seem to be very strongly against us. I sometimes wonder how someone like you or Floyd could become become a commie. But I know nothing is impossible. I am not sure how, but you will eventually become a commie, if you survive the next few years anyway.

The Eastern Europeans sure choice Communist revolution when allowed a free choice... No, wait a second they dumped the first chance they got.

Even the Chinese have gotten ride of that banckrupt systemin all but name; now all that is left is a repressive one party state which is banking on capitalism to save it from extinction.

Here's my promise to you, capitalism will cease to exist as an institution forever within 10-20 years. I bet you think I'm nuts huh? Well, just wait and see.

And moreover, capitalism will have a big collapse around mid to late October of this year. It won't be a final collapse by any means, in fact, I don't think it will even be a Great-Depression level collapse, but it will pave the way for the bigger stuff later.

I know you don't like communism, so let's call it something else, let's call it, Philanthropy. People will awaken to their divine nature (yes, even you have a divine side to your nature) and learn to accept a new philosophy of philanthropy which is simply to live for the betterment of all.

Don't worry Fez, it won't be so bad.

first of all.... Argentina DOESN'T Have labour laws that make impossible fire workers, in fact, it's the opposite thing: One of the reasons of this crisis are the ''free market'' policies implemented by the Ex-president Menem; He privatized all the state companies and now these companies do whatever they want: they fire workers without reason, buy companies just to transfer them all debts of their other companies, don't do what was told them in the privatization contract, etc.
The same Neo Liberalism you are defending is what brouth us here.
I believe in capitalism as long as the state controls big companies so that they don't commit abusses like the ones are happening here.
