To be honest... IT DOESN'T MATTER.

A "private" site is just that... private. It's up to the owners of this private site to do as they please.

While you might not like that... tough... this isn't a democracy. They can do whatever they want, because they OWN the site

If you would like to see things run differently, create your own site...

No. Apolyton's layout may be ugly but that of CivFanatics is worse.

Unity?

If we combined the 2, it would be a lot harder to ignore the people from Civfanatics.

Oh, and vice versa.

Actually, the admins' private interests are important. Much more than other's interests. If an admin loses interest in keeping the site uptodate, where does that leave the rest of us?

Most of the Apolyton OT posters would be banned at CFC on the spot.

And how would we continue the ISDG?

For these and other reasons mentioned above, I vote a resounding NO. (No offense CFCies )

Oh, this thread is a funny one.

Of course Poly and CFC would never be united. They are like oil and water.

Of course, this begs the raising of the primordial question. Should Poly and SidGames be united?

"cultural take-over"

Maybe if they unite we will have a babe thread.

As for OTers posting On Topic, I'm one among the minority that posts in both.

Well it's not like you are restricted to joining one or the other. You can easily join CF to play GOTM or the Civ3 League if it still exists.

GOTM = Game of the Month

PBEM = Play By E-Mail

ACK doesn't stand for anything, unless it's Tuberski clearing some furballs out of his throat.

hi ,

civ III and ptw , check it out

the game of the month is a game that several people play , you can compare at the end how one and an other was done by other players , .... everyone gets the same game

pbem , instead of waiting for the comp who plays all the civs you can play against other humans , play by email

ack > used by some people only

at apolyton we are strong in MP , multi player , yet we have almost no experience in pbem or gotm , ..... the other side , civilization fanatics centre does have , ....

anything else

have a nice day
