Is multiplayer viable with dial-up?
Simple question

Is it playable, or does there become simply too much lag to be competitive?

If possible rate for 2 players, 3 players, etc.

I'd like to know as well. I'm still stuck in the dark ages with dial up.

A quick scan of a RON lobby in Gamespy shows most players with pings that indicate DSL /cable connections. Already games are being labeled "NO LAGGERS". Also, it seems not many players are interested in duels, opting for 4-6 players in a game. Big issues seems to be players on routers can't host games and some players crashing on game launch.
