Minister or war Imperialis 1750 bc (not stuffed up)
Imperialis (size2) supporting 2 archers,1 horse,1 warrior and 1 settlers which is costing us 3 shields
only has 1 warrior present for martial law and is currently in revolt

1 archer is located at (142,70)(near sparta) this is in our south , archer is about 16 squares away from our nearest city so the greeks are closer than that.

2nd archer is near Glorificus (2 squares away) and I suggest moving it there and then supporting from that city to free up another shield.

Horseman is located at (94,42) (near Osaka) about 15 squares from our nearest city in our North/East .
this means the Japanese are either to our North or East and not that far away

Settlers are near Majestica and I suggest they are used to build roads on sheilded grasslands to provide more trade arrows until we discover Monarchy and then build a new city.

first part of the poll is for the archer near sparta
second part is for archer near glorificus
third part is for Horseman near osaka
forth is for the settlers.

please vote with care and thought.

Once we rehome the first archer we can rush the warrior and be happy again.

True, but our shield production in Imperialis will go to zero... We need to get that settler off the city-support.

We badly, badly, badly need more trade arrows in order to get some science. Our goal of Monarchy should be paramount, in order to deal with both support problems and our science.

we can move the settlers into another city and change support. will give us the shield and a food back in our capital.

Rehoming is an option. I hope I will be instructed to do so in an intelligent fashion...

One option we can do, is to pump the settlers into one city to start the Xin.

However, this solution would require more effort than our current scientific research for monarchy, and would likely take more time due to the size of our lightly defended empire.

Search South/East and North/West. Rehome and stay there. Build roads for trade ASAP, then connect the cities.

if we get lucky and find the other civs, we could hover and time the get out of our area or declare war message to coincide with the building of cities further out..thereby rehoming our units once they get sent to our cites.....?

but having zero production for a few turns isn't the end of the world.......

While a "zero anything" can be not too harmful in the short run, I think it is a sign of failure to understand the long-term.

I try to avoid that situatiuon.

i agree...but the danger of rehoming all your units to your 2-4 cities is the danger of the last city having too many units to support.. as we see now.....

this happens when you get alot of units from huts....but can be avoided by building more cities....luxuries could be increased.....this would avoid some martial law problems while we track down the other civs and get cer burial...which would save a ton of research on the next tech (hoping mon here)

The polls are over and the results are as follows:

The archer (near sparta) to search for the greeks in a south east direction.

The archer near Glorificus is to be moved into that city and supported from there and then explore .

Horsemen near osaka to search for Japanese in a North east direction.

Settlers to build roads to give more trade arrows.
