Got to? Why?

(of course, you don't have to answer. Threads about that have a history of getting messy anyway... )

Even that doesn't assure me of anything (especially if I only get paid every 2 weeks at the county job and my first week there isn't a pay week). Fortunetly my mom said she'd loan me the rest of the money for a week until I get my paycheck. But, it still sucks!
I love the Navy. Paid twice a month no matter what. On the 1st and 15th.

Damn! I didn't know that could happen if you don't get your son done when he's born. Oops, that might have changed my mind.

Imran: Sorry to hear about that. I hope you make some friends there soon. Get out and do stuff.

Yeah, it sure sucks out there these days.

Fortunetly, my parents were talking and they told me not to worry about July's rent. I think they feel sorry about this crap the Prosecutor's Office is putting me through (because they were the ones that set it up). So at least that's good news.

I bet the memory is buried deep inside all of us males who had it done when we were wee newborns. I was watching TLC a few days ago, and they showed a newborn boy getting circumcised (not the actual surgery ... just in the same room), and the poor guy SCREAMED like a banshee.

Yeah. I know there's got to be some deeply-buried leftover emotional trauma in all of us males from that.

Hmmm...I got a job offer that is close to six figures but I'm probably not going to take it. Funny thing is, nearly all of you have more education than me.

Yes, we realize they are too big to fit in your backside, but I'm sure you could make it work .

This is something I don't understand. I mean, you've got that job lined up - so why not take a permanent job, work it for a couple of weeks, then walk into your new job?

Sure, that employer will be angry with you - but hey, go where the money is. If employers offer long term contracts, health benefits and profit share, they got loyalty. When they don't (and most don't) they get treated like the arseholes they are.

Be ruthless when it comes to employment.

As for the gf thing, I know it hurts but get your perspectives sized up. Once your 18 (I assume you are not) then having a chat with the bank about the shortfall could help you out. I say could - banks are unpredictable, but it does no harm to ask.

Best of luck with the rest of your summer.

I was over 20 when I was diagnosed. It's messy for the first 24 hours and sore as hell for a couple of days, but after a couple of weeks, you'll never look back.

"Balinitis exotica" is the medical term (I've probably spelt it wrong but there you go).

Ah, I don't want them to be. It doesn't feel right to do that... I've seen others do that when I've been working. It's a pain.

I'M TWENTY THREE (23)!

And I'm already taking huge loans from a bank for law school... more loans are just not that feasible.

There's a fine line between crime and survival.

What I am suggesting is not criminal, and is a vital part of survival in a world where the employer holds all the cards. If you are not old enough to be that ruthless, fair enough. If you had a wife and kids to consider, you wouldn't think twice about it, would you?

You say that and you don't even know the evils I'd be managing. The funny thing is, the job will probably have some human resources stuff attached to top it off. Even funnier is that I've been rejected by a girl for being too nice of a guy.
