Scenarios and Modifications
I am playing Civ III with the 1.29f patch.

Is it possible to start a new game with modified rules, for example: no corruption, no pollution etc.

Alternatively, how do I create a scenario, with modified rules but a random map gets generated each time.

Thanks.

yes, all you have to do is to start civ3edit.exe and turn these things off.
corruption is in 'difficulty level'. just put the slider down for all levels (warning: difficulty regent affects the AI)
polution effect: change pollution production of all improvements to '0', give 'reduces' pollution to all buildings (it won't be '0', but very small)

But remember, when you go to load the game with the modified rules, you have to load it out of the "scenarios" section.
