Our Empire 100AD
Just finished playing...I was later at home then expected...and there were some important things I had to do this morning...so I just finished playing.

Saves are already send to the senate..If someone didn't get it please let me know.

A short a criptic resume(don't the mind spelling )

History

200BC: Devastation near Roman emire renamed to Desolation
Switch production of Pax Apolyton to Settler
Rush barracks in Havoc(70G)
Switch Temple of Dominion to Settler
Greek start Sun Tsu

175BC: rush library in Imperium(70G)
hut--> Legion(Rack)
hut--> Legion(Devastation)

150BC:renounce treaty with Romans
chariot attacks cumae-->phalanx wins
lost horsemen vs legion in Antium
unleash a horde of barbs…joy…
hut--> wandering Nomads(NONE)
lose Legion vs barbs

125BC: horsemen kill’s phalanx of Cumae

100BC: rush pike at Misery(there are some greek horsemen hanging around
hut--> and a new horde of Barbs…
and the hut next to it…again 8 barbs…ie 16 barbs vs 1 chariot and 1 legion…
take Cumae: 8G size2
hut--> NONE legion near Rack
try to extort Romans… darn they don’t believe me
Barb uprise near Dominion…asif there aren’t enough barbs in that area
Roman diplo looked in one our cities…I think he didn’t like it

75BC: Rush diplo in Dominion
start temple in Desolation…3 units are not enough to establish martial law
Rush Barracks in Cumae(112G)

50BCisorder in Havoc(black faces you need to love them)…dito Majestica

25BC: Rush library in Newton(so I can do something about that disorder)
capture Barb leader while attacking almost dead chariot=> 150G
buy Barb Chariot=> will replace dead phalanx of Dominion(61G)
Hut: Monotheism whipiee
Rush Pikemen in Cumae

1AD: start researching Chivalry
Council tell’s me we are n°1 in science
There some strange things going on…martial law in Havoc: 2 units present…no effect???
Hut--> Scroll’s Bridge Building

20AD: Rush Croock in Cumae: surprise for the Roman Archers sneaking around
Horsemen attacking Antium dies(Legion), discover Mycenae (with an elephant)
Hut--> NONE Legion

40AD: population exceeds 1.00.000 ppl
elephant dies when attacking Mycenae..they had a pikemen
hut--> Crusader(Ruin)

60AD: Barb party near Ruin(between the just recruited Crusader and horsemen)à lost crusader)

80AD: lost units to Romans…I hate those mountains… and barbs…kill approaching Greek Chariot near Dominion…
Rush crusader in Cumae due to recent loss of units

100AD Americans start Marco Polo’s…lose another horsemen against Barb crusader ..sigh…kill a second greek chariot near Dominion
An Advanced tribe Famine
Hut--> Chemistry

Screenshot will come soon(before I go to sleep), and there will be plenty.
As you can see there were some glorious moments and a lot of disaster...barbs and unhapiness is a nightmare (just for fun some citizens turn black and marchal law refuses to kick in.. cfr Havoc)

Must be that the joy of battle exists even when you lose (and we seem to have lost a lot).

wrong translation of the Word doc L...
( if you type : ) it creates a smiley...when copy pasting it to this board it gets translated to a letter 'L' ... (same for the "a" with an accent those were arrows ... those smilies should be ...I'll change them immediatly))

Ah the crowds were all excited when Pharoah Shade took up the bat,

They knew that he could swing it, and and they all exclaimed "have at"!

But they did not know how long before the program would advance.

And the Citizens were waiting, like to ants inside their pants.
---

He came out swinging strongly, and results we can see now,

But results over the mainland are a mystery, and how.

There's much to learn (some screenshots please), we do await the chance,

To see how well our land will fare. Shall we mourn or dance?

and the current amount of corpses of strong young men ....the women of Apolyton are crying and ask the Millitary advisor to make sure such thing can never happen again, they ask him to plan the war carefully and in detail so our loses of young brave men are reduced to a minimum.

This loss of brave men makes the women so unhappy they start dressing in black as a sign of their mourning.
Only Elvis can bring some relief...but not for long I'm affraid.

This is the Roman empire... we were able to conquer Cumae, but for further conquest I suggest our SMC does some planning. Those mountains are a nightmare, way to many in all the wrong places...

On the bright side...I think I know where the Greek cities are located...
The NONE-settler had some collisions with a greek settler.
Also would I suggest to leave them alone for a while,so we can explore their lands and bring in the heavy equipment.
Our Imperium is hugh and our troops are spread very thin.I suggest we focus,let everybody believe we love them, untill we have an army near their cities that is big enough to do some serious damage.

That's all ppl...if there are requests? just ask and tough shall recieve.

It would be good to know where the far-flung units elsewhere in our empire are. A screenshot of Cumae would help. I'd like to know how many units we lost relative to the losses of the AI civs.

It was good to take Cumae; I'm surprised we could, but it worked, and that's always good. We now have a foothold in the Roman civ, and there are Mountains we can occupy to attack the next city. I really like that opportunity!

I'd like to see a screenshot of Imperialis and Majestica "Xinning". Seeing the benefits is better than reading of the theory.

all units exploring and fighting for their lives are outside the cities(and are all captured in the screenshots)
our losses vs AI losses... 50/50 for Romans, for the greek we only lost an elephant while I got rid of (IIRC)2 chariots,was there something else attacking our cities...don't remember, barbs-->all explorers bumping into Barbvillages and raiding parties,barbs coming to close to our cities didn't survive
...we could easily have lost a dozen units...I know it's a lot but we have a very weak army, horsemen exploring tend to get killed pretty fast.

I don't mind the Horsemen getting killed; we always want to risk our most obsolete units, and I think you did well with that. And *any* unit opening a hut may be surounded by Barbs at this point, so I don't blame you for those either. The same events would have befallen anyone playing the game.
