I wish Atari and Activision would come together to make a SuperCiv. With the best of Classic Civ and CtP Civ.

Such a good idea. Not that they ever will. It does seem that many things could be added other than scenarios and new civs.

Agreed, higher spec comps are a must. After playing CtP2 on a super huge map and 32 civs I could light a stick of incense off of the cpu.

I have never played CtP2 but many people seem to like it. I loved SMAC and the expansion. I really like Civ3.

Is CtP2 hyped to much or do you think it is really worth playing, even though I have Civ3?

Go ahead. I'd be going back to CtP2 now if I wasn't getting warmed up for C3C.

Groovy idea! I could get the incense in without taking the cover off!

(Practically speaking its a bad idea. I have small kids bouncing around the house.)

What about PTW and the conquests option turned on.

Is it my imagination or if you have any of the victory conditions turned on that when they occur the game is over and you cannot continue playing even as a option?

I've just got a city taken and was told I have suffered a conquest long in a single player game. I'm peaved because I don't have the option to continue playing.

Is this right?
