i have just installed dierctx 9b and it has uped my fps rate by about 10 from 15 to 25 through out my game.

Aahh so my suspicion is correct after all. My DX9.0a performance (not only limited to RoN) is way bellow DX9.

is dx9b new, I just downloaded it today. Will have to try that out too, thanks

i think that 9b is new as i could only download it on the 24th
