Nope, not for a few years now. Why play an inferior strategy game when you have Europa Universalis?

I was going to say only those people that still do play it care enough to vote here.

Then I saw the poll results and lost all capability to believe in anything. Now I vote Republican, too.

Haven't played civ2 since ToT came out. Haven't played that since Civ3 came out. I couldn't imagine going back to the idiocy of the AI.

I stopped playing Civ2 after SMAC came out, and stopped playing SMAC after Civ3 came out. I voted no because i stopped playing any type of Civ game since Civ3 came out.

I do play EUII once on a while, but not because it is superior to Civ2, but because it is newer type of strategy game to explore. And I'd say that Civ2 is somewhat better overall, but it's just a matter of taste i guess.

I stopped playing ToT when soundforge ruined my windows partition. Haven't played a commercial civ game since.

I reinstalled it on my D drive. but I have yet to play it again.

But it wins the lifetime achievement award, and deserves a place on my hard drive.

I know there are a few scenarios out there I want to play still, and one of these days I'll download and play them.

are there any good scenarios for test of time?

I put that on my D drive as well in case there were some good scenarios utilizing multiple maps.

What about me? I haven't played any commercial game for a year now. I'm getting desperate to play a game that costs money and requires windoze.

Personaly i think Civ2 is far to outdated now, The GFX are too poor (by modern standards i mean) and with new games out all the time its hard too keep interest and time to play Civ2. However in its day Civ2 was God-Like and i personaly lost many a week-end to this game. It sparked my love for TBS games and ever sence i havent stopped playing the genre (even if i dont play Civ2 anymore)
