Not sure what Theseus meant by "seagoing fortification."
A stack of galleys fortified with the "fortify all" command have a line-of-sight of 3 squares instead of the usual 2.

That's, um, odd. Really? Ok, that's out too, I guess.

Oooh! I thought of another one:

Making an agreement with another civ whereby you use cannonfodder units (regular warriors or somesuch) as freebee kills for elite units fishing for leaders.

I think it's an exploit, and I know GS decided it was one a long while ago (I think somebody brought it up when we were peaceful with Vox). I bet most people agree, but let's discuss in case that's not so...

I consider the Leader farming to be an exploit and I don't think it should be allowed.

Leader isn't a lucrative (I'm sure someone can do the math) as it sounds, so I wouldn't ban it personally.
OTOH I do feel it's not what was intented, that's usually the benchmark I use.

Played a bit with numbers and you're right. Leader farming is not that lucratuve if your aim is to build wonders. However, if your aim is to build FP in a highly corrupt place or get your first army it suddenly becomes much more powerful and it should therefore be deemed a cheat.

Not so sure about the 'seagoing fortification' though. Played an old CBM64 game called '7 cities of gold' (explore and conquer game) where some secrets only could be found by staying at the same place for some time. Guess I have to check it out to see if it makes sense in any way.
