how to let the AI do what they have to do?
Can anyone help me figure out what the best way is to control the AI (and also control the human player if possible).
I want in my new scenario my different armies to
- stick together, so that troops in the 1st army don't go and fight with the 2nd army, but stay with their friends.
- follow a specific line of march.

As far as I know, I have 3 options of doing this, all of them are not too good.
1) Make impassable invisible units between the armies (for AI and human, but too limited)
2) use two civs, make them allies and add an army of one civ, then of the other etc. (AI, cause that would look stupid for a human playr)
3) As Nemo did it, hope and pray that Microprose's event of MoveUnit works and give all units a walking direction (only useful for AI, and takes a lot of events)

Does anyone have some other (better?) ideas?

Well, here's what you could do:
Commonly use roads as connections between cities. Increase the movement rate.
Use Railroads for the units paths. Don't connect them! The units will most propably follow only these railroads.

Hmm.. that's a good idea. I unfortunately can't use it in my scenario, cause railroads are used for something else very important.

Still, it's a nice idea which could somehow be used..
Would they also be following normal roads? I guess so..

I don't really know. I have never really watched that when playing a normal game or a scenario. I will pay attention to that next time I play something.
