Romanian minister:Sexy weather girls 'should be banned'
Quote:
Sexy weather girls 'should be banned'

A Romanian minister has called for sexy weather girls to be banned from TV after one predicted light showers when it was pouring with rain outside.

Agriculture Minister and head of the Romanian Meteorological and Hydrological Institute Ilie Sarbu told the Libertatea daily: "I want girls with miniskirts and big cleavages out of TV weather shows.

"The Meteorological Institute has a £30 million investment to deliver exact forecasts. And yet one day I came to my office when it was pouring with rain and a girl with her breasts half-naked was saying on TV that we might have some light rain in the afternoon.

"There are some girls who keep showing up on the TV screens and say nothing but stupid things."

Seriously, this guy has a point though. Weather girls shouldn't only show their breasts, they should tell the real forecast too.

Flasher bitten on testicles

A flasher who exposed himself to a woman in Croatia was bitten in the testicles by her dog.

The 36-year-old from Zagreb dropped his trousers after spotting a woman in her front garden.

But when he put his penis through a hole in the woman's garden fence her dog, named Medo, pounced on him, Croat news agency Hina reports.

The man was taken to hospital where doctors said he had sustained injuries to his testicles.

He was later arrested after admitting the cause of his injury.

Why blame the weather girls? They're not qualified meterologists and nobody claims they are. They just read the script that's given to them.

Sexy weather girls have been bad, and should be spanked whenever the forecast is incorrect by a member of the viewing public chosen by lottery.

What? So tell me this. In America we've got balding males saying "There will be a light chance of thunderstorms" the day before a flood, and no one complains. But in Romania they've got sexy chicks that do the same thing, and they want them banned!? Well, at least send them over to America!

WE must stop these crass generalizations. There are quite a few qualified meteorologists that are cute blonds in the US. I'd rather watch them tell me an inacurate weather report over some balding guy.

All forcasts are inaccurate... maybe this stupid minister should (a)just ask God what it will be like (b)trust in god that each day will be good, or (c) stick his freakin head out the window and check the weather for himself!

Personally, the weather is always stupid and I would rather waste the time watching a hot chick babble about something than an ugly guy try and sound smart...

Italian weathermen are the funniest: they don't look straight into the camera; instead, they look at a screen so that they know what the fark they're actually pointing at.

All the BBC weather presenters are qualified meteorologists.

Went to uni with a few people who are now at the Met Office, one of whom is now on national BBC.

When a few of my buddies were at college there they (allegedly) caught Isobel Lang giving some guy head behind the tennis courts.

I can see only a couple of drawbacks with having sexy girls reporting the weather.

_You watch the girls and miss the forecast

_Some of them are a bit too dumb looking thus taking a bit of that sexy edge away from them.

But those are minor problems.

The weather people in the US always talk in percentages, as in, "there will be a 60% chance of rain today." They never say 100% either; those bastards always give them selves an out so if it doesn't rain they can say "But I said there was a 10% chance it wouldn't rain".

everything is always "possible" too... "There will be a slight chance of rain this morning with possible clearing by the afternoon"... no sheit sherlock? Did you come up with that all on your own?

I would like to disagree, it will be light in the day and lighter at night! The only thing we can really be sure of is that during a hurricane, there will be some wind.

Even i'll have to admit that Skilling's reports are accurate more often then most services.

But the girl that does the game day forcasts for football on fox, is much more fun to watch.

Skilling is the weather GOD...

THat family is like a split between Good and Evil. Jeffrey Skilling was an Enron cronie... and Tom is the weather God.

But given the choice, I'd look at hot girls for weather.

Taiwanese TV kicks the person off camera during the weather segment, leaving only their voice and some computer graphic arrows.

The weather sequence is also ridiculously long, going on to report the different weather in each county and city even though (due to the size of the island) it is generally the same everywhere. Then it reports weather in various mainland cities, then in places around the world, as well as wind and wave conditions in offshore fishing areas. The whole thing lasts at least five minutes. They play nice music though.
