Converting MP3 files
Does anyone know how to convert MP3 files into wav. format?

Just go to www.download.com and search for "MP3 to WAV encoder". As easy as that.

Oh, and if you want a larger numbers of encoders to choose from, there's always www.mp3.com.

Thanks, Monk. Can you suggest a specific program which permits the conversion of MP3 to WAV? I've downloaded a couple which allow WAV to MP3 but not the reverse.

Actually what you want is a mp3 decoder(encoders change wav -> mp3).. I don't know any actual programs that do it(never needed to do it myself), but I have the L3 decoder program which I assume would do what you want if you can use the dos command line. If not, you should be able to find one with a gui on either of the above mentioned pages or any such program download site though.
