Stefan Hartel's Iran
I am downloading it right now and thought we should start a discussion.

Is it spelled Aryans or Arians?:-)

I don't know for sure.
In German, the term is "Arians", though in English I have often seen "Aryans". I personally like to use the term "Iranians" as it is a) how they call themselves and b) If I'd use Arians often, it would seem nazistic.
I will send out a small update tonight, with a modified rules and icons.gif file. Have fun playing!

I`ve just downloaded, it, I`ll play it and give you my first impressions as soon as possible.

P.S If you`d used the term "Aryans", most English-speaking people would assume it was something to do with the Nazis as well.

From the Surprise thread:
Uh, RPG about Xenophone's Journey?:-)

Is it a clone of JB's Iberian Pride that lets one play as one of the Middle Eastern tribes from 4000 BCE to 1999 CE?:-)

Who da man? I da man!;-)

I was a chieftain before I posted that previous message, so I ended up looking stupid.

Sorry your Majesty!

My major comment on this scenario is that the ready availability of camels makes conquest of the entire world too easy. I suggest making camels wimpier and speeding up tech advance rates. I did like the shepherds, but it results in the player getting way more cities than his competitors. Perhaps events that give shepherds to the opponents as well without forcing them to capture things to speed their growth?

I was able to build warriors on turn #1 but if you change production you can't anymore.

Why are goats so tough? Dang goats. Aren't even worth anything.
