I didn't realise that one needed a great amount of training to be a suicide bomber.

Certainly not more of your tired militaristic ravings. Surely you have better things to do than stick up for a bunch of inbred Okies who shoot at their own side as much as at the enemy.

That's not what he meant. He meant that the US public really has no stomach for a real fight (i.e. one in which Americans die). As far as I can see he has recent history on his side.

Agreed. The right might as well say "They hate our McDonalds" and they would have a more compelling case.

Once again for the record. The facts prove that the right have zero credibility on this issue. It was a BS war for BS reasons and it's leading to a BS outcome. You all lied about the war and you're lying about the peace. End of story really.. these attempts to salvage some credibility are growing increasingly amusing.

"our presence in the region is the key cause behind terrorisms' existence and it's focus on us..."

I don't think so or Saudi wouldn't have let us on their soil, no matter what the reason.

"And you don't think Osama chose those guys because of the relationship between SA and the US? It was his intent to create a rift between Arabs and the US."

They already didn't like us, all they think is we are the infidels that support Israel, state run media plays a major role here. We didn't have a chance from the start.

"If you attack Saudi Arabia, you create WW3... good plan"

Who will form an axis against us, Russia and China, not likely over Saudi, I am more worried about the massive loss of lives in Saudi if we did have to attack.

"We don't have to create democracy in Iraq... we need to stabilize the country. The security and safety of America is my primary concern... a stable Iraq is in everyone's best interest. Bush's strategy is destabilizing the region. It's like a grease fire... instinct tells you that water puts out fire... but throwing water on a grease fire is the wrong way to extinguish it"

You said it yourself, they have been fighting for thousands of years, only democracy can be a long term solution to a long term problem, if nothing else, if really hasn't been tried.

Agathon,
P-p-p-p-p-p-p-paranoia!
100 deaths per day from 1 in Iraq, really...............who is being paranoid? I have a better chance with an asteroid.

"And what does September the 11th have to do with Iraq? Nothing, until GWB attacked it and gave AQ a shot in the arm."

Read above and learn.

And the word is "ridiculous" dear boy...

Thanks honey. I couldn't have slept tonight without knowing that.

If you don't mind blowing yourself up at any time, and don't care if you panic, no. Infiltrating to the target and maintaining the presence of mind to get to the best spot and not be detected by security takes a bit of work.

We've gotten much better at killing a lot without dying a lot, so why should we fight these goat-eating dumbasses at their level?

A gunshot wound when cleaning a weapon incorrectly is a surprisingly common accident. Rifle cleaning accidents mainly involve incorrect safety procedure when loading and unloading or assembling and disassembling.

Some pistols are very dangerous to clean if not done correctly - especially those with a hidden magazine and chamber like the 9mm pistol.

I have a theory about guys obsessed with lesbians... I think such men actually want to be women. Personally, I can't get too excited over lesbians... I want them pleasuring me, not each other!

Another British soldier dead...

A couple of Americans died as well, but that's becoming so common now that it's almost not newsworthy.

The Americans also seem to be admitting defeat to such an extent that after previously refusing UN military help, they're actually begging for it!

What a humiliating climb down...

This is not a quagmire
We can withdraw at any time
And we will draw when we have defeated all of the terrorists even if it takes decades
This is not a quagmire

This is not a quagmire
We regret the accidental killing of innocent civilians
But this is war and civilians die in war
We are winning the hearts and minds of the Iraqis
This is not a quagmire

This is not a quagmire
We can withdraw our troops at any time
But to withdraw our troops now would be a sign of weakness
This is not a quagmire

This is not a quagmire
We must stay until we have establish democracy
We will ensure that the fundamentalist do not gain power even if it means we have to keep troops there forever
This is not a quagmire

This is not a quagmire
We will withdraw when we have achieve peace with honor
And we will achieve peace with honour when we achieve peace with honour
This is not a quagmire

This is not a quagmire
We regret to inform you that your son has been killed

Family 'devastated' at soldier's death

The blood of his death, and the death of almost 300 coalition troops is on the hands of Tony Blair and George Bush Jnr in this unnecessary war...

Many more will die and many more billions of dollars will be pissed into the sand before any semblance of order can return so that elections can be held for a new Iraqi government.

Let us hope that the new government that rises from the ashes of the old is still a secular government and not an Islamic Fundamentalist one as things are currently looking as this whole exercise will become one colossal own goal of biblical proportions if that ever happens!

Oh and if there were any WMD, well they're probably in Islamic Fundamentalist's hands by now after the collapse of Saddam's regime!

Nice job!

Next time you hawks are in a hurry to rush into war, and expect to easily outsmart the enemy, remember the enemy is going to do everything he can to outsmart you. Now there's no easy way out of this mess. Certainly enough American Generals warned us of this possibility.

I agree with the pundits who think Saddam set up this guerrilla war. His M.O. has always been that if he can't beat someone mililitarily, he'd mess with leaders' heads. I wouldn't be surprised if he got rid of his WMDs and jerked the UN around, amusing himself that they'd spend years looking for something nonexistant. Not many tyrants challenge a President to a debate, I'm sure he did that just to put Bush in an uncomfortable situation.

To those of you that think war is easy, play a multiplayer Civ Democracy game, my private forum was mostly filled with concerns about who was going to do what to us, so we could do them in first, except here lives are at stake, and there are many more ways to attack in life than in Civ.
