Idear to make world domination more difficult it later parts of game
The biggest problem with the game is AI, it not clever enough to take down a powerfulr nation. The real challenge is becoming the most powerful nation, it is also the most fun part. Once you become the most powerful nation most nations can't catch up, except maybe an ally but they will not attack you anyway (if you pick you allies well) .
If it is possible, if you become say 150% better then your nerrest competitor then all nations should all start to hate you more. So your challenge is to stop several nations from straining your resourese and causeing you to collapse.
This is historicaly accurate. Look at America now, dominates the world and traditional allies resent that, ei Europe.
The only problem is that nations should rally behind a super power to be saved from another super power. HOw that would be implement i don't know.
