'missing entry' error

Hi folks

I recently installed CIV3 PTW with 1.27f patch, my CIV3 its on 1.29f patch

I just get strong in one greate game

, but when I discover 'Radio', and go to Modern Age, the game crashes and shows

missing entry in "GameRes\text\PediaIcons.txt": ANIMNAME_PRTO_Army

I try uninstall, deleted all files and registry values, install all over again as follows: civ3, patch, ptw, patch

After loading my last save game, Same problem

Any idea how to solve that?? I belive its just a missing file or line in pediaicons.txt

I recall that when PTW came out and I installed Civ/1.29/PTW/patch. I had problems. I had to go Civ/PTW/patch for PTW. I presumed it was because PTW upgrades CivIII to 1.29F.
I take it you were not running any scenarios. If you were, you may want to look to see if they have updates here.

I'm playing with my own cenario, I created on CIVEDIT. It has minor changings in units settings (movement, strengh, cost, abilities) , buildings (less polution

), etc.

Already send a msg do firaxis today. ETA 4 days

Try posting in the Creation forum. You may find someone that has run into this making their own scenarios.

I found a way to work arround... simple kill all my armies

Now the game can go on !! But without any army

No answer from firaxis team so far
