Not getting any Great leaders over 10 games

I have PTW with 1.14f patch (1.27) crashes too much.

Now compared to vanila civ with 1.29 patch I'm getting no great leaders even when reloading 10 times a stack of 20 elite units attacking.

Is this normal for a single player PTW game ??

I've also had this problem with mods too ie Balancer 3.1

can any one confirm getting GL's with PTW 1.14f and/or PTW balancer 3.1 mod.

I don't know anything about the mod, but I got at least 2 leaders in every 1.14 game I played and that is a lot of games.

Reloading a game will have no effect unless you have Preserve Random Seed deselected in your startup preferences. The chances of getting a Leader are slim, a 1 in 16 chance. You're probably just having bad luck.

Go on attacking with the same unit all over and over, forgetting about the game itself, just to know if you're wrong, then come here and let's discuss about this again eventually

I have preserve random seed definetly off and reload 100's of times different games/pc's etc but here's a update :

When I play the game at any other than Diety I get them, when I play diety I don't.

Conclusion you don't get great leaders (or the chance is 1in a1000 at diety level)

I recollect receiving a Great Leader in a deity game.

Umh, not that it made any difference.

Cavalry and riflemen against mech infantry and tanks is a bit lopsided. Umh, unfortunately the AI had the tanks.

You can be lucky or unlucky with that 1/16 chance. In most games I get no Great leaders at all. Very occaisonally I might get 2 or 3 GLs in a single game.

Well I all of a sudden got about 10GL in 30 battles with elite units. Weird maybe i just had to restart civ3 in that case b/c I still cannot belive how i didnd't get one with over 400 elite wins during testing the other day.

Just the luck of the draw. I've had a number of games when I didn't get a single one. I'm glad that Conquests will be having Scientific GLs, at least I'l be able to count on a few more. Quite often I'm in the lead tech wise.
