Let's sell city walls
We have a strong military, so we shouldn't fear any attack. I say we sell city walls in our core cities and keep city walls in our border cities for now.

Seems fair, as long as the city has not been attacked for some time and it is far enough away from a large civ that we know it can be considered safe.

Once we have all the AIs largely on the run, we should sell the walls.

For now, though, the Greeks keep sending units at us and some slip past our sentries. So I say, keep the walls. The revenue from selling them can't be that much as we don't have many walls in place.

As long as a city is not threatened by invading troops like the ones on the Greek border I say sell them.

I would prefer we hold off selling anything at this time. Dominion is very near our capital, and as I understand it, still under Greek attack. If our core cities are still facing attack, I don't think we can be selling city walls anywhere just yet.

City Walls have no maintenance cost and selling one only gets 80 gold. I don't think the one-time benefit of 80 gold is worth losing the value of City Walls against annoying Barbarian attacks. I'd rather have the City Walls and a smaller garrison to allow us to use all available units against our enemies.

I agree with cavebear. We are not in so much need of cash that we should be selling such a useful improvement as city walls.
