Sure, the side-step makes a little difference, but not enough for a total new genre. It's kinda like how to view the screen difference in Desperados and Commandos 2: In desperados you can only view the game from a certain perspective, while in Commandos you can view it in isometric view (4 angles)... It only adds new possibilities for the game, it's not a completely new genre...
At least that's how I feel about it...

I also like Desperados more than Commandos 2... I wish they'd make a sequel

trust me theres alot of difference.
Eh... I was half trying to troll anyway. But What I said is true. I knew I was gonna get basically "huh? I dunno what this guy is talking about" response, but goto a fighting game forum like tekken zaibatsu forum and say same thing about RTS and TBS and id get a response like "Starcraft is cool. TBS is whack its stupid" response too so...
