Hello I am new to this site, but am an avid Civ player.. been playing it since 1991. I love civ3 and think i am a decent player but i have a few questions.
1. Does PTW run in a playable state over cable modem between 2 people? I would be buying it for me and my friend. But im not waiting 5 min to scroll the screen. We will go back to SC if it is slow.
2. I can crush Monarch, but i usually lose to the setting below deity because of tech. I am a rex'er and i usually don't fight till i have 12 or so swordsman or knights. I have read just about every post here but im wondering how well you all do? I win like 1 in 10 games.
P.S. My friend is still working on regent and started playing with civ3.. omg i hope PTW runs ok
He kills me 70% o the time on SC because he can multitask well.. but he doesn't use strategy
