Home front HQ: Initialization, and forming of our goals and tactics.
a technical question first:
where is the most updated version of the scenario that I should download, and where should I place all of the files?

a question of responsibility second:
Who's responsible for the ein gev pocket, east of lake tiberias?

with these two questions out of the road, when time comes, I will make the moves in my region: My garrisons are severely understaffed, esp in the Jordan Valley region. In the Shore region, I probably will be able to hold ground, but only barely so, in the long run. The capture of Tantura will have to be in the hands of the northen front, unless any new units are formed in the cities under my responsibility.

In short, I have little defensive capabilities, and no offensive capabilities whatsoever. I will greatly appreciate the alleviation of this unpleasant situation.

Where can I dl the scenario since I obviously have an older version?

In any case, I will be putting more emphasis on uniting our territory when it comes to sharing units. I'm going to post orders for artillery mostly, so try and mass any available infantry where you want to go on the offensive, and hopefully one or two pieces of artillery will come the way of each front.

I've copied all of the files from the scenario to the main menu, still it doesn't work, and I see pikemen, and musketeers.

hi ,

erase your version all the way , go to the apolyton dir , reinstall all the files , .....

what you see are the units before they where changed for the scenario , ....

that should do it , let us know if it does not work , .....

civilian admin never controlled the military in those parts , ......

there is an history section on the idf site , ......

They control, in this at least, how far we can advance. And, if you read the limits of our currently permitted advances, we can't attack far enough.

I'm not trying to put pressure on you but... wait a minute, yes I am putting pressure. I want dead Arabs.

Anyway, when will the arty be dvidided up so your front commanders may begin posting their turns? What else do you want done before the front commanders begin making their moves?

I realize this is the first turn, and thus progress in putting up the save games will be slow.

I already handed out their respective OOBs. Basically, they control what is in their hands at present in their cities.

That may be why. I assume you are using MGE, and that what you need to do is put the files in a seperate scenario folder in the scenario directory.

Does anyone know if this scenario even works with non MGE?

also, if the units are .gif, and there's a .bmp unit file in the same dir, the .bmp overrides (is preferred by civ) the gif.

Well, that's why. How is the save game to know which files to draw upon for units, sounds, and terrain? It needs to be in the same folder.

Made my moves, Mr Prime Minister. I would like to urge you to put pressure on the cabinet to rush buy, and build more units in the Home Front, I am suffering from severe shortages, esp. in the valley.

You should get plenty of AA in your cities in turn 2. The inferior enemy planes can't fly over the British forces, for they are cowed in fear.
