HYPERSMAC - Poll on a few issues.
A few issues that will help keep the game fast, and will encourge new members to post the turns, rather than waiting for veterans to come along.

Diplomacy would really be sped up if everyone had MSN messenger, then we could all make on the stop diplomatic decisions.

It would degenerate into only the super active members making decisions. Not everyone can be on MSN all the time.

The other thing is allowing email communication means little as you don't know where to send the emails too. The turnplayer will likely change constantly.
If you start allowing for emails then people have to start delaying turns to find the diplomatic messges. Also it will discourges the members that aren't receiving the emails from playing the turn.
